Smart Patient Matching
Detect and merge duplicate patient records automatically
Overview
Duplicate patient records accumulate over time — 'Muhammad Ali', 'M. Ali', 'Mohammad Ali' all become separate records for the same person. EliteHMS scores every patient pair (0–100) using phone number, CNIC, name similarity (Levenshtein distance), age, gender, and city. High confidence pairs (85+) are flagged for review. Merging re-points all bills, prescriptions, lab tests, and appointments to the surviving record.
