Vital Signs Monitoring
Record and chart vitals with automatic critical threshold alerts
Overview
Nurses record BP (systolic/diastolic), pulse, temperature, SpO2, RBS, weight, and height. Each reading is timestamped with the nurse's name and context (Routine, Post-procedure, Emergency). Critical thresholds trigger immediate Socket.io alerts to all logged-in staff. Recharts area charts show trends across the last 20 readings.
Standard Operating Workflow
Search Patient
Open Vital Signs, search patient by name or ID.
Record Vitals
Enter values for BP, pulse, temp, SpO2, RBS, weight. Select context (Routine/Emergency/Post-procedure etc.).
Threshold Check
System checks instantly: SpO2 < 90%, BP > 180/110, Pulse > 150 → red alert badge + socket notification to all devices.
View Trends
Charts show BP, pulse, temperature, SpO2, and RBS trends over time. Print A4 vitals report.
