EliteHMS gives you a complete medicine inventory layer — every medicine tracked by name, generic name, batch number, expiry date, strength, and dosage form. Barcode scanning via ZXing eliminates manual search at the billing counter. Reorder level alerts fire automatically when stock drops below your set threshold.
Standard Operating Workflow
Add Medicine
Enter name, generic name, category, manufacturer, strength, dosage form, purchase price, and sale price. System auto-calculates your profit margin.
Set Batch & Expiry
Enter batch number, expiry date, and opening stock. The system immediately flags any medicine already expiring within 30 days.
Configure Reorder
Set a reorder level (e.g. 50 units). When stock falls below this, a sidebar badge alerts the pharmacist instantly.
Scan Barcodes
At billing or stock check, click the scanner icon — camera opens, scan the medicine box barcode, medicine auto-fills. No manual typing.
Monitor Dashboard
Filter by Below Reorder Level, Expiring in 30 Days, or Out of Stock. Export list as Excel for purchase planning.
