What this page does

You choose who should receive the message, write it, review the recipient count, then open WhatsApp or the phone’s SMS app to send it.

Warning:The app prepares messages and keeps a sending checklist. It does not automatically send them or confirm delivery. Staff send each message and then update its status in EliteHMS.

Note:Total Messages Sent is a tracking count, not a delivery receipt from WhatsApp or a mobile network.

Tip:The idea buttons are suggestions to start from. Review the audience and message in the campaign form before creating anything.

Create a broadcast

Select New Broadcast or Create First Broadcast. The form has three steps.

1. Choose the campaign and audience

  • Not Seen in X Days: Choose how many days since a completed appointment.
  • By City
  • By Blood Group

Choosing the audience

Tip:Check the recipient preview and sample recipients. Confirm that the people and phone numbers are appropriate before moving on.

Note:Patients need a phone number for the message workflow.

2. Write the message

Choose a quick template or write your own. Templates include appointment reminders, health tips, and refill reminders.

Tip:Read and edit template text before sending.

You can personalize messages with these variables:

  • {name}: Patient’s full name.
  • {firstName}: Patient’s first name.
  • {storeName}: Clinic or store name.
  • {city}: Patient’s city.
  • {bloodGroup}: Blood group.
  • {patientId}: Patient ID.

Campaign recipients with Open in WhatsApp and Open in SMS buttons
Sending to each recipient

WhatsApp and SMS are handled through the apps on your device.

Note:The system’s Sent status is a record entered by staff; it does not verify that the recipient received or read the message.

Warning:The Mark All Sent button updates all remaining recipients at once, so use it only after you have actually sent those messages.

The campaign list shows its status and progress. You can refresh the page, cancel an eligible campaign, or open a completed campaign’s report. The recipient list lets you review Pending, Sent, Failed, and Skipped entries.
